You have been saying Primark wrong for years

Primark - it's where you go to stock up on plain Ts.

It seems there is some division over how to pronounce the name of this high street clothing shop.

The two contending pronunciations are:

Pr-eye-mark

and

Pree-mark

Primark themselves have finally stepped up to answer the riddle.

In the section on their website for 'Other Queries', Primark writes:

That's a very good question.

We like to use Pr-Eye-Mark

But then again, do authors lose control of their work once they release it into the world?
