A photo taken on the subway of a woman with her baby and what appeared to be a smiling Muslim family has gone viral – with people saying it represents what actually makes America great.

Amid the anger caused by Trump's travel ban (which focuses on a number of Muslim majority countries), people have replied to MacKnight's tweet to celebrate the values they see America having.

Earlier this year another photo from a train in New York went viral, featuring a drag queen and a woman in a niqab.
The infamous 'This is the future that liberals want' tweet that was initially aimed as a criticism of both the LGBT community and Muslims rapidly became a rallying call for inclusion, acceptance and celebration of diversity.
