New White House Press Secretary learns the hard way why you should never wear green on TV

‏Sarah Sanders took to the White House podium yesterday to update the press on what the Trump administration had been up to recently.

The big topic being the vote to repeal Obamacare and save Americans from the ‘increasing damage from this disastrous law’. And, thankfully we all ready know how that vote went down.

Sanders decided that she would wear a green dress for this particular occasion.

You might already be guessing that this was a massive mistake.

It was actually a TV faux pas committed by the previous White House Press, Secretary Sean Spicer, when he decided to don a decidedly green tie to his press briefing not so long ago.

Green on television can be incredibly risky for this simple reason: it’s very easy to isolate the particular colour and then swap it with other things. Which is exactly what they do with weather forecasts or in films to sometimes add in over exaggerated explosions and all that good stuff.

It didn't take an awful lot of time for Jesse McLaren to realise this potentially hilarious mistake as an opportunity, and produce this wonderful video:

Here's to you Jesse, we thank you for this gift
