The Northern Ireland Assembly might be in chaos at the moment, but that hasn't stopped the country's deputy first minister making light of the situation.

Owing to the status of the IRA, and a murder in Belfast over the summer, the executive was on the brink of collapse last month with DUP leader Peter Robinson standing aside as first minister while taking the majority of his party with him.

On Sunday, Martin McGuinness, the deputy first minister, a member of Sinn Fein and former senior member of the IRA, tweeted this:
