These are the weirdest ways students have cheated on exams

A new survey by the Student Room has found one in 10 admits to cheating in exams. They surveyed almost 1,000 students across the country, and here are some of the most bizarre methods they admitted to using.

  • Writing answers under a headscarf
  • Writing answers on a tampon
  • Trying to flirt with teachers
  • Using a UV light pen on their arm/water bottle/trousers and then using the light on the end of the pen to show answers when needed
  • One girl wrote answers/notes on her thighs, and wore a skirt with tights - you couldn't tell she had anything written on her leg but when she sat down, she pulled her tights so you could see through them and see what she'd written.
  • Using a code to indicate different words or letters
  • Writing equations in nail varnish on finger nails
  • Writing notes around fingers and covering them with rings
  • Using Morse code

The Student Room polled 985 UK students, aged between 12 and 24, between 5 June and 15 June 2015.
