This feedback card perfectly sums up how everyone feels about modern art

"Modern art is a disaster area. Never in the field of human history has so much been used by so many to say so little." So said Banksy once, apparently.

If you've ever been dragged along to an art gallery and stared at a heap of clothes on the floor or a box of crushed Pepsi cans and wondered why on earth you'd paid fifteen quid for the pleasure, you're almost certainly not alone. After all, this an arena in which an overturned urinal can be hailed as genius.

A comment card supposedly left at the Tate Modern in London by one anonymous man this week has clearly struck a chord.

Posted to Imgur on Friday, the note's simple message read:

My wife made me come here and I'm not convinced this isn't a joke.

The image has received hundreds of responses over on Reddit with people sharing their own underwhelming experiences.

As another famous artist, Jackson Pollock, said in defence of his passion: "The strangeness will wear off and I think we will discover the deeper meanings in modern art."

Here's hoping.
