Here are all the non-racist things Jeremy Clarkson has said

Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended by the BBC after a "fracas" with a producer.

The corporation said it will be carrying out an investigation into the incident and that this Sunday's episode of Top Gear will not be aired.

Clarkson was given a final warning by the BBC last year after a series of controversies...

The N-word

In May 2014, the Mirror claimed Clarkson had mumbled "catch a n##### by his toe" when reciting the nursery rhyme "eeny, meeny, miny, mo" in unaired Top Gear footage. Clarkson denied doing so, saying he had tried his hardest not to make the remark or use the word and hadn't done so but his efforts “obviously weren't good enough”.

Didier Drogba

Clarkson was accused of racism in April 2014 after calling his (black) dog Didier Dogba. He responded: "Why is it racist to name our amazingly brilliant dog after a footballer?"

Airports

Clarkson suggested airport delays could be solved by "a bit of racism" in his Sun column. "Nobody is waved through any more, he wrote. The result is plain for all to see. There’s a two-hour wait. And the problem is: the only possible solution is to introduce a bit of racism."

He added: "Nobody likes a racist. Nobody likes prejudice. It has no place at work, at play, or in government. But at Heathrow airport? Hmmm."

In response to his comments a spokesperson for PCS, the union which represents border force workers, said "Clarkson is an idiot."

Black Muslim lesbians

In 2009, Clarkson told Top Gear magazine that BBC bosses were obsessed with hiring "black Muslim lesbians". He said: “The problem is that television executives have got it into their heads that if one presenter on a show is a blonde-haired, blue-eyed heterosexual boy, the other must be a black Muslim lesbian."

Mexicans

In 2011 the BBC was forced to apologise to the Mexican ambassador over remarks made in an episode of Top Gear. In the episode itself, Clarkson predicted they would not get complaints because "at the Mexican embassy, the ambassador is going to be sitting there with a remote control like this [snores]. They won't complain, it's fine".

Scottish people

"If the Scottish want to break away, I shall stand on Hadrian's Wall with a teary handkerchief, and say: ‘Good riddance to the lot of you, and take your stupid bagpipes with you'."

German people

Clarkson gave a Nazi salute during a December 2005 episode of Top Gear and said their sat nav "only goes to Poland".

The Welsh language

In 2011, Clarkson said: "What’s the point of Welsh? All it does is provide a silly maypole around which a bunch of hotheads can get all nationalistic".
