Unearthed clip shows Trump bragging about open-mouth kiss with female TV host

A newly resurfaced video from 1992 shows president Donald Trump admitting to kissing NBC talk show host Faith Daniels when her husband's back was turned.

In the clip, the now-president can be heard bragging that the kiss was 'so nice and open', during an appearance on Daniels' A Closer Look program, which Trump claimed that he agreed to appear on because of his misbehaviour at a New York City charity event, reports the Huffington Post.

Speaking to the live TV audience, Daniels said:

You kissed me on the lips in front of the paparazzi... and I said, 'That’ll cost you. I’m booking you on the show.’

In response, Trump said:

The kiss was so good, and it was so open and nice. She's a fabulous woman. 

Her husband is a handsome devil, I’ll tell you.

He’s a good guy. But I think he had his back turned at the time. So, we had a good time. 

The video was highlighted by MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on her talk show on Wednesday, who then shared the clip to her 'Maddow Blog' Twitter account where she wrote:

Here is some of the 1992 "A Closer Look" interview with Donald Trump in which he tells the story of abruptly kissing the show's married host on the mouth.

The Mar-a-Lago video surfaced by MSNBC earlier today was shot in connection with this interview.

As the video continued, Trump, who was newly divorced from Ivana Trump at the time, complimented Daniels on her physique, after she asked who he'd like to date next.

In response, Trump said:

I think my choice might be you.

Look at the legs on her. Boy, oh boy. Could be you.

He continued:

I’d prefer a beautiful woman to a non-beautiful woman, and I know that’s discriminatory.

I know people say, ‘How horrible. He’s a horrible human being to say that.’

But I tell you what, men, raise your hands. Does anyone disagree with me?

The controversial comments are nothing new for Trump.

In 2005, he famously bragged about grabbing women's genitalia alongside former Access Hollywood host Billy Bush. In a recording, he can be heard saying:

When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.

Furthermore, 16 women have accused Trump of inappropriate behaviour, including sexual misconduct, and sexual assault.
