People are sharing stories about the most incredible celebrity encounters

The allegations coming out of Hollywood, an industry which never had the best moral reputation, of horrific abuses of power for sexual gain, feels relentless.

In an effort, perhaps, to remind us all that some celebrities can be better, @bakkooonn, aka San Fransisco artist and photographer Oliver Leach put out a call for stories of kindness.

So try to forget all the men who have disappointed you with their behaviour, with these heartwarming stories of celebrities being better.

Leach got the ball rolling with an anecdote about American film director Harmony Korine.

Others piled in with stories about writers, producers, and famous executives who had helped them out.

Of course, Leach acknowledged that good people do bad things, and vice versa.
