Mike Pence is in South Korea for the Winter Olympics and gay athletes are trolling him

These two openly gay athletes aren’t pleased with US Vice President Mike Pence being selected to lead the US team at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Figure skater Adam Rippon and freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy have both publicly criticised Mr Pence’s involvement in this year's event.

In a Instagram post on Friday, the two athletes were pictured together on Gus’ Instagram account. The caption read:

The 2018 Winter Olympic Gaymes are officially under way! 

I’m so proud to be representing the LGBTQ community alongside this amazing guy! Eat your heart out, Pence.
