Whether you're graduating from university, college or high school, it's definitely going to be a cause for celebration.
One graduate at Lee High School in Midland, Texas stole the show during his graduation as he jumped, danced and cheered his way across the stage, much to the enjoyment of teachers and fellow graduands.
As he received his degree, Carlos Neria hugged teachers, posed for photographs and joyously hopped his way across stage to mark the happy occasion.
The 19-year-old's intoxicating enthusiasm even had his teachers jumping and clapping along with him and, honestly, you'll struggle to find a graduate as ecstatic as this one.
a 33-second clip of Carlos' moment of glory has has more than 25,000 views. It shows the teenager jumping for joy and even dropping his high school diploma amid the excitement.
Accompanying the video, the school district wrote on Facebook:
One of the greatest things about being part of graduation is celebrating the accomplishments of our students! We wanted to share a video with you of a very special graduate, Carlos Neria, who danced across the stage with the greatest joy and enthusiasm as he received his high school diploma! We are so proud of you Carlos and proud of all of our 2018 graduates!
Carlos' mother, Teresa, spoke to KWES about the moment and in the interview she called him 'a blessing' in their lives:
He’s given us an example of sharing, of love, of happiness.
Carlos, who was born with Down's syndrome, is the youngest of eight children. But this didn't stop his mother from knowing her son would be treated just like any other kid.
As a recent graduate, Carlos will be attending Life College, and he has reportedly expressed interest in finding a job he can interact with people and share his infectious happiness.
