John Oliver on how we should treat Donald Trump: Ignore him

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, there's a very real chance that Donald Trump will become the Republican presidential candidate.

Yes, the man famed for such comments as:

Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again - just watch. He can do much better!

And

The U.S. cannot allow ebola infected people back. People that go to far away places to help out are great-but must suffer the consequences!

And

I do carry [a gun], on occasion. Sometimes a lot. I like to be unpredictable.

Oh, and...

However, one very sensible grown up named John Oliver has a very grown up and sensible lesson to teach us with regard to how we should treat the property mogul...

Ignore him.

Talking about Trump on CBS This Morning the Last Week Tonight host made it quite clear he has no intention of sitting down with the GOP candidate at all.

"He's said everything he wants to say. He has no internal monologue," Oliver explained going on to point out that it's not as if Trump has a "secret nugget he's been holding back".

He's an open book, and that book doesn't have many interesting words in it.

Oliver also added that American democracy looks like a four-year-old's birthday party... because of all the balloons.
