People think Meghan Markle is about to launch her own beauty line - here’s why

In recent years, we’ve seen several celebrities launch their own makeup and skincare brands.

For many, it’s become the natural next business move as fans jump to imitate their favourite A-lister’s beauty look. Celebs like Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, and Selena Gomez have all seen incredible success in launching their own brand.

Now, rumours have begun to circulate that the beauty scene just might be getting a new founder in the mix, Meghan Markle.

The speculation - seen recently in fashion publications - stems from reports that Meghan and Prince Harry were spotted having more than one meeting with Bill Guthry, co-founder of the marketing firm Guthy-Renker. The Sussexes were photographed at Guthry’s ranch in Santa Barbara.

Guthy-Renker is responsible for a portfolio filled with some of the biggest celebrity cosmetic lines such as Jennifer Lopez’s JLo Beauty and Cindy Crawford’s brand Meaningful Beauty. Naturally, people are taking Meghan and Prince Harry’s visit as a hint that the Duchess might be in talks with the co-founder to launch her own brand in the future.

While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, it’s no secret that Meghan has inspired many beauty fanatics to mimic her stunning natural makeup and sleuth her go-to skincare products. With that much attention on imitating her signature clean look, it makes sense that Meghan would move to make her own beauty range from a financial perspective; and we’re willing to bet that there’s more than a few people who would be excitedly waiting to shop the line.

Until more news is released (or an official announcement is made), Meghan and Harry have made sure to keep themselves busy.

Back in May, Meghan released a children's picture book that she wrote entitled 'The Bench', inspired by Prince Harry's relationship with their son Archie. The Sussexes also were reported last year to have signed a deal with Netflix and secured a podcast deal with Spotify for Archewell Audio to live on the platform.
