Unlike other celebrities, The Rock says he showers three times a day

One of the most bizarre revelations in the celebrity world over the last few weeks is that some celebrities don’t bathe all that often.

The likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have all recently revealed in interviews that they take a very laidback and ad hoc approach to cleaning themselves. It’s a bizarre thing to share publicly but as long as they are happy and healthy then that should be all that matters, right?

Anyway, these odd revelations now have people obsessed with how much the rich and famous decide to bathe and there aren’t many people more famous on the planet right now than Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who has taken time out of promoting his new movie Jungle Cruise to reassure fans that he does stay clean...very clean, in fact.

Replying to a question on Twitter, which suspected that The Rock wouldn’t be a ‘stinky celeb’ the 49-year-old star confirmed this to be the case and went into very specific details about how much he showers a day.

The former WWE Champion wrote: “Nope, I’m the opposite of a ‘not washing themselves’ celeb.

“Shower (cold) when I roll outta bed to get my day rollin’. Shower (warm) after my workout before work. Shower (hot) after I get home from work. Face wash, body wash, exfoliate and I sing (off key) in the shower.”

You have to say that is quite some commitment to your own personal hygiene but then again this is The Rock and he doesn’t do things by halves.

Fans were understandably delighted at the news.

Good to know that when you smell what The Rock is cooking, it isn’t him...
