A student captured people's faces the moment they are told they are beautiful

A student in Chicago has made a short film which documents what happens when she tells people around her high school, "I’m taking pictures of things I find beautiful."

Writing on her YouTube account, 18-year-old Shea Glover said:

I conducted an independent project which evidently turned into a social experiment regarding beauty.

I want to clarify that my intentions were not to get a reaction out of people. I was simply filming beauty and this is the result.

Shea uploaded the video earlier this year, but it's recently been picked up by social media.

Some people's faces blossom into a smile when they're paid the compliment.

Others are shy.

And one or two immediately get hostile.
