Have you ever felt unappreciated by your manager at work? You’re not alone.

New findings have revealed your boss probably has no idea what you are up to all day.

A survey of 2,000 workers discovered that a third feel their managers are completely oblivious when it comes to their work, with a further third feeling their work goes unrecognised.

Conducted by Perkbox, the poll revealed that another 41 per cent doubt their boss’s capability to complete just one day’s work in their role. Scandalously, one third also believe that their boss is overpaid.

Added together, these factors certainly paint an unhappy picture in terms of a healthy working environment.

But it gets worse.

One fifth of employees don’t think their boss is understanding or empathetic, with a quarter actually stating their manager is unconcerned about their well-being at work. One fifth revealed that their manager has made negative remarks about co-workers.

So if you're not someone who has seething resentment for their boss, you're one of the lucky ones.
