A campaign to bring Turkey Twizzlers back to UK schools has just been launched.

Kirsty Rogers launched the petition on change.org to bring back the chewy snacks after they were outlawed by Jamie Oliver.

So far, she has managed 3,328 signatures, and with just over 1,500 left, she’s set to be successful. Rogers wrote:

I used to live of [sic] turkey twizzlers used to make sure my mum stocked up lol. But to think my kids will never experience the taste of them makes me what to get this petition as far as possible.

So come on u twizzlers lovers get signing.

The snacks were made up of a combination of water, pork fat, rusk and oil.

It’s not surprise Jamie Oliver got rid of them and tried to make his own ‘turkey twirls’.
