BBC staff dance around Christmas tree in live broadcast


While most people were stuffing their faces with turkey and mince pies on Christmas Day, journalists around the country were slaving away in their newsrooms.

Except for one small group at the BBC that is... But we think they can be forgiven for taking a few minutes out to perform this highly coordinated dance around the corporation's Christmas tree.

As the traditional beep-beep-beep came on and the camera panned across the newsroom, their little performance could be seen fleetingly before a chuckling Julian Worricker popped up to deliver the headlines.
