Tory MP Ben Bradley is known for putting his foot in it on Twitter.
Last year, he was forced to tweet an apology for alleging that Jeremy Corbyn passed British secrets to a spy from communist Czechoslovakia. In January 2018, he also apologised for suggesting that unemployed people should get vasectomies.
Now the Remainer-turned-Brexiteer is under fire for appearing to blatantly suggest on Twitter that the UK must deliver Brexit in order to help him “win his marginal seat”.
Bradley made this statement when sharing a campaign video from Tory leadership contender Jeremy Hunt.
Former Tory MP Anna Soubry wasn’t impressed with the insinuation that Bradley wants to deliver Brexit to keep his job. She accused him of putting his "own job before the jobs of your constituents”.
Other Twitter users also criticised Bradley's tweet.
indy100 has contacted Ben Bradley's office for comment.
