When it comes to politics, Ben Shapiro and Democrat supporters don’t often see eye to eye.
In fact, Shapiro – the conservative commentator and Trump voter – couldn’t be more at odds with most Democrats, who will be hoping that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be victorious in the 2020 election.
If you’re not familiar, Shapiro’s highlights include getting resoundingly owned by the BBC’s Andrew Neil in an interview, and launching a campaign against Cardi B’s song ‘WAP’. Oh, and he also tried defending Trump against impeachment charges by seriously arguing that he’s “too dumb” to have committed the offences.
But after Trump declared himself the winner in the election as millions of votes were still being counted, Shapiro went on Twitter to call him out.
And this swift intervention, against the candidate he voted for, has a lot of Democrats feeling very… surprised.
Liberals on Twitter are pretty much united in saying “I can’t believe Ben Shapiro is right!”
Conservatives, on the other hand, were less happy about Shapiro's intervention. Lots of Trump supporters called him a "traitor" for suggesting all ballots should be counted.
Alrighty then.
Even in such a tumultuous election, Ben Shapiro being right about something is a twist very few left-wingers expected. But in 2020... stranger things have happened.
