Caroline Flack has reportedly been found dead in her flat today, three weeks before she was due to stand trial for the alleged assault of her boyfriend Lewis Burton.
No further details are known about the circumstances surrounding her death, but it comes just 24 hours after she posted her first Instagram post since last Christmas. With just a red heart as a caption, she posted a collage of pictures of herself and her dog yesterday.
Her followers are understandably grief-stricken at her unexpected death.

Prior to yesterday's post she hadn't uploaded anything since Christmas Eve, when she revealed in a heartbreaking post that she had been advised against using social media, saying:
This kind of scrutiny and speculation is a lot to take on for one person to take on their own... I’m a human being at the end of the day and I’m not going to be silenced when I have a story to tell and a life to keep going with.
The post had more than 200,000 likes, although comments appear to be disabled.

Since the alleged assault and her being replaced by Laura Whitmore on the winter edition of Love Island, Flack has been at the centre of much speculation, especially around her relationship with 27-year-old Burton.
