Celeste Barber/Instagram
You’ve probably heard of the Australian comedian Celeste Barber.
And if the name isn’t familiar, you’ve more than likely come across her parody celebrity photos on Instagram.
She went from a modest couple of thousand followers on the social media platform to more than 4.5 million.
And she’s got a blue tick by her name.
The main reason for her popularity is her tongue-in-cheek social commentary on the superficiality of celebrity culture.
In other words, funny Instagram photos copying ‘sexy’ and otherwise wanderlust-like pictures taken of famous people.
And her account never gets old: it’s the gift that keeps on giving.
She's just so jokes.
