CNN offers its unique perspective on how Isis recruit women

Your eyes are not deceiving you. CNN really did offer this unique perspective on how Isis recruit women on Wednesday.

"Isis is talking online about jars of Nutella, pictures of kitten and emojis. These three images are in part helping Isis recruit more westerners into the fight because they want people to believe their life on the battlefield isn't so different from yours. They actually eat Nutella and I guess they have pet kittens," presenter Carol Costello explained.

City College New York visiting professor Nimmi Gowrinathan appeared on the show to offer some much-needed perspective, explaining women were fighting for Isis as they believed in the idea of a caliphate. "Women are not fighting for women's rights.. it is a political fight that goes a bit deeper than social media and that is what women are attracted to, for a number of reasons."
