Since the coronavirus arrived in the United States in mid-January the response from president Trump and his loyal supporters has been mixed at best.
This has ranged from Trump attempting to call the pandemic a 'hoax' created by the Democrats to claiming he knew how serious the issue was all along to then blaming others on his administration's confusing approach.
It's been quite something to behold but the fact of the matter is, the US now has more than 239,000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and more than 5,000 deaths but the blame for these shocking numbers perhaps shouldn't be entirely placed at Trump's door.
Many of his loyal supporters in the US media on Fox News and conservative radio and other Republicans in congress have been downplaying the seriousness of the coronavirus, even after it had arrived in the country.
To demonstrate this, The Daily Show has put together a compilation they call 'Heroes of the Pandumbic' and features familiar faces like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Tomi Lahren, Laura Ingraham, Kellyanne Conway Matt Gaetz and Devin Nunes all spreading misinformation about the disease.
The clip which The Daily Show shared on Friday evening has already been viewed more than two million times on Twitter and people are pretty horrified by what they have seen.
As mentioned, the US has had confirmed cases of coronavirus since January but has been slow to implement social distancing measures with only a handful of states enforcing lockdowns, while masks and ventilators are in short supply for healthcare workers and patients.
