Donald Trump Jr called out the Bidens for nepotism and it backfired badly

With impeachment investigations underway against Donald Trump, sparked by his suspicions of the Biden family’s actions in Ukraine, Hunter Biden appeared on ABC to defend his dealings abroad as ethically sound.

During the interview, he dismissed Trump Jr and his brother Eric as “out of a B movie” after relentless attacks from the pair on social media.

In response, the ever-perceptive Donald Trump Jr decided to attack Hunter Biden about … wait for it … nepotism.

Part-quoting Hunter Biden's admission that, although qualified, he likely wouldn't have landed his lucrative gig on the board of a Chinese finance firm without being the US vice president's son, Trump Jr tweeted:

Dumpster fire at Biden HQ! 'It is impossible for me to be on any of the boards I just mentioned without saying that I’m the son of the vice president of the US. I don’t think that there’s a lot of things that would have happen in my life that if my name wasn’t Biden'.

Needless to say, it backfired spectacularly.

But rather than admit defeat, Trump Jr doubled down.
