Yesterday a number of papers and broadcasters reported that President Donald Trump allegedly referred to certain countries as "s**tholes".

Mr Trump was reportedly discussing the United States' visa policy towards people from Haiti and countries in Africa.

He allegedly said:

Why do we want all these people from 'sh*thole countries' coming here?

The quote sparked outrage and many accused Mr Trump of racism.

This bookshop in New York had a fantastic response to the incident; displaying books written by authors from those very same countries.

Photographed and shared by Michele Filgate, the picture quickly went viral.
