People are trying to come up with a female equivalent to The Rock, and they're struggling

The Rock. It's a testament to the power of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson that not all of us immediately think of a cliff face when we hear those words.

But Twitter user Grace Spelman has a problem with the wrestler-come-actor's mind-boggling career trajectory, which has taken Johnson from the comedic highs (or lows) of Baywatch,to the seemingly endless thrills of Fast and Furious, while all that time still remaining, well, The Rock.

Spelman thinks a similarly untouchable career path is not open to women. So, she did what we all do when grappling with a tricky question: she turned to Twitter for help.

Spelman's criteria for the female equivalent of The Rock? Someone who can star in every type of (possibly mediocre) movie from action to animation, rom-coms to goofy comedies.

Someone who can even talk their way into the cast of a musical seemingly just on charisma alone (Moana, anybody?).

Someone, then, just like The Rock – whose stardrom rose in the early 2000s, but everyone feels has kind of been around forever, starring in everything and everything.

People had plenty of suggestions, but none were quite the same as The Rock.

Though Twitter did find an answer in the end. Kind of.

More: Someone told The Rock that wrestling wasn't real. Big mistake.
