It’s Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day.

The annual event started in 1979, a year after the company was born, to give thanks to customers for their business.
By 1993 every US shop was handing out free ice cream on Free Cone Day.
In the year 2000, the event went global.
The event is running on 4 April from 12-8pm.
