Answering a relatively simple question on a high stakes quiz show is easier said than done but we aren't sure if we've ever seen an answer quite like this.

During a recent episode of the US quiz show Jeopardy! a contestant was posed with the question:

Beyoncé & Jay-Z released the album 'Everything is Love' under this collective name.

Now, most people who had their pulse on pop culture in 2018 would have known that the collaboration between the couple was called 'The Carters' - after all, that is their genuine surname.

Even if you didn't know that, a simple and cultured guess at 'Jay-Z and Beyoncé', although wrong, wouldn't have been entirely embarrassing.

However, the contestant, named Jessica, who was the returning champion, went with something altogether different. Just take a look at the video below and you'll understand what we mean.

BEY-Z

That's right, Bey-Z. We really don't have anything else to say about this as the answer speaks for itself.

Those watching the episode, much like the above Twitter user, couldn't quite believe what they had heard either.
