With Labour facing fresh anti-semitism claims following the party's decision to rehire controversial MP Chris Williamson, you would think that Jeremy Corbyn would be trying to keep a low profile, right?
Well, he tried his best by attempting to avoid photographers and journalists stationed outside his modest home in north London as quickly as possible but it backfired on the Labour leader.
This wasn't because of anything that he said but because he managed to shut his wife Laura Alvarez in the porch behind him as he hastily attempted to get in his car.
Did everyone just spot Jeremy Corbyn shutting his wife in the porch when he left his house this morning? https://t.co/T83iezdwwi— Adrian Sherling (@Adrian Sherling) 1561720300
We cannot confirm if Alvarez was trapped inside the vestibule but Corbyn didn't exactly turn around to check.
Either he was trying to get out of there as quickly as he could or realised that he was in trouble with his wife and didn't want to make the situation any worse.
As you can imagine, Twitter had a lot of fun with this mishap from the 70-year-old.
