Donald Trump just got schooled on climate change by someone from Jersey Shore

Reality TV show stars are often unfairly labelled as not being the sharpest tools in the shed.

Then again, a former reality TV star is currently the President of the United States so what do we know?

Earlier this week, Donald Trump displayed a pretty poor understanding of climate change on Twitter.

Unsurprisingly, it would appear that other reality TV stars have a much better understanding of the subject than he does.

No, we're not talking about the Kardashians or anyone on Love Island. Instead, we are focusing on Vinny Guadagnino, best known for his role in MTV's Jersey Shore.

Just in case you've never seen the show, Vinny was often regarded as the nice guy amongst the Jersey Shore revellers and rarely got into any arguments.

He's also pretty clever and has a 3.9 GPA major in political science from the College of Staten Island.

Vinny, who knows a thing or two about enjoying the weather, noticed that Trump's statement didn't really make any logical sense and decided to let him know.

He honestly couldn't be more on point with his assessment. Climate change is "complex" and to claim it doesn't exist just because it's snowing wasn't exactly Trump's finest hour.

The 30-year-old's response to the President soon went viral and a lot of people agreed with him.

Vinny could be forgiven for not caring about this topic but it's refreshing to see someone in his position, not known for engaging in political debates, actually talk more sense than the President.

In his follow up tweet, he asked why someone should be dismissed just because they have a summer shore house, and we think it's a point well made.
