Jon Stewart beautifully takes down Fox News over latest 'mainstream media conspiracy'

Jon Stewart may have announced he's leaving The Daily Show, but that doesn't mean he's letting up in his ruthless quest to skewer Fox News at every available opportunity.

This time the object of his righteous ire is Fox News congratulating itself over its coverage of the death of Michael Brown and the ensuing race riots in Ferguson, and accusing the mainstream media of avoiding the real story of, um, Fox News being right all the time.

Our favourite part is the presentation of a whale-shaped cake to Fox, inexplicably recently named the most-trusted news network in the US.

We think you're a whale of a network, in that we've been chasing you our whole lives and just can't kill you.
