Kamala Harris struggles to contain her laughter when asked about the fly on Mike Pence's head

Kamala Harris has been asked about the now-famous fly that landed on Mike Pence's head during the vice presidential debate and her laughter said it all.

Speaking to Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, the vice-presidential nominee couldn't restrain her laughter when the topic of the fly was brought up.

Just for a recap, during the VP debate earlier this month, a fly landed on Pence's head and stayed there for nearly two minutes without Pence even noticing.

Neither Harris nor the debate moderator Susan Page said anything leading many to suspect that they didn't see the bug either but that wasn't the case.

Maddow asked Harris if she saw the fly which has become an internet meme:

We could see it at home. Could you see it sitting next to him?

Rather than say yes, she just nodded her head as a big smirk came across her face and eventually burst out laughing.

Credit to Harris, she did ask the conversation around the fly be dropped now so everyone can move on but not before she made a pun.

I think that it’s important that we kind of find a way, all of us, to move on. And kind of fly away from this subject onto something else.

All we can hope is that is the end of the fly discourse and that actual politics and real scrutiny can be brought to the fore of this election.
