"Take THAT, Trump!"
These words, which appear to be the slogan of Maryland gubernatorial candidate Richard Madaleno, will likely be stuck in your head all day after watching this 30-second clip.
In the short video, Madaleno runs through his existing achievements as a state senator, all of which are in distinct opposition to the notoriously conservative values of the Trump administration.
"Here are a few of the things I've done that already infuriate him," he says, before revealing that he previously banned assault weapons and protected planned parenthood. Madaleno also says that he believes in public schools, not vouchers.
And what's the number one way I piss off Trump?
He asks the question with a smile on his face before turning to kiss his same-sex partner, marking the first political TV campaign ad to feature a gay kiss.
According to The Hill, Madaleno has already made history by becoming Maryland's first openly gay member of the General Assembly, and would be the first openly gay governor were he to win the race.
Unsurprisingly, he fought to legalise same-sex marriage and, if his campaign video is any indication, would likely continue to fight for his progressive values.
