McDonald's are offering a £10 three course meal for Mother's Day

If you’re struggling to find a reservation for Mother’s Day, then McDonald’s could be about to become your unlikely saviour. This Mother’s Day, the fast-food giant is offering a special three-course meal for the grand total of just £10.

The deal, which will allow your mum to sample the finest items on the McDonald’s menu, is running at a branch on Northumberland Street in Newcastle.

Meal options include the mozzarella dippers, The Signature Collection burger, chicken legend and, of course, McDonald's world-famous Apple pie.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said:

McDonald’s Northumberland Street is popular with families so doing a Mother’s Day meal seemed a really great idea to bring families together and enjoy something different.

The Mother’s Day deal is the latest move that proves McDonald’s are not afraid to cause a stir. On 8 March, the chain flipped their icon golden arches upside down to mark International Women’s Day.

A spokesperson, added:

We have a long history of supporting women in the workplace, giving them the opportunity to grow and succeed.

In the US, we take pride in our diversity and we are proud to share that today, six out of 10 restaurant managers are women.

But not everyone agreed, with Twitter users noting the recent dispute between McDonald’s and its workers over pay and conditions.
