No, two magicians did not hijack a Sky News report

Two magicians went viral on Friday morning after footage emerged appearing to show them video-bombing Sky News presenter Ashish Joshi.

As Joshi explained opposition to David Cameron's NHS reforms outside the Houses of Parliament, illusionists Young & Strange can be seen performing an incredible shrinking man trick in the background.

But if the slightly different graphics or extremely made-up news story didn't give it away for you, Sky News later confirmed the video was actually a publicity stunt by the magicians - and the presenter was in on the whole thing.

"We’d like to clarify that the Ashish Joshi video with the magicians in the background is not a Sky News report," the broadcasters tweeted.
