This arms control expert's response to latest North Korea crisis should probably worry us all

On Tuesday President Donald Trump warned Kim Jong-un that the US would respond with 'fire and fury' to nuclear threats.

On Wednesday, we're all somehow still here, and able to read analysis from the finest minds in the fields of weaponry, diplomacy, and brinkmanship.

Dr. Jeffrey Lewis PhD is a self described 'arms control wonk', based at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California.

At the institute he is the director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Program. The brief, as you might expect, frequently deals with North Korea.

In addition to updatinghis website on the subject of arms control, Lewis is a columnist for the magazine Foreign Policy.

On Tuesday, Lewis broke his silence on his crisis to provide analysis and advice to those fearful about the future of the world.

His sage words and demonstrative photo is a blessing.

Hours later, he appeared to be practicing that which he had preached.
