Piers Morgan got destroyed on Twitter for hyping his interview with Trump

Donald Trump is everywhere at the moment.

You literally can't turn on a TV without his big orange mug grinning back at you.

His UK trip has already seen him have a very awkward meeting with the Queen, and an eventful press conference with Theresa May.

If that wasn't enough he also spoke with one of his best mates and probably the biggest Trump apologist in the UK, Piers Morgan.

The outspoken journalist and TV presenter managed to bag an interview with the president on Air Force One, and it's set to air on ITV on Monday.

This won't be the first time that Morgan has interviewed Trump and to be honest it can't be any worse than their previous encounter.

Given that neither men are that popular on certain sections of Twitter, Morgan's "breaking news" was met with a huge backlash.

The image of Trump and Morgan on Air Force One together also became something of a meme.

Earlier this year on the satirical news show The Mash Report they made a bizarre illustration of Trump and Morgan after their previous interview and the hosts of the show are already salivating over what sort of goods this new interview will deliver.

In response to the backlash Piers Morgan posted probably the lamest and most middle-class comeback we've ever seen.
