You thought you were fancy with your weekend croissant, but Princess Margaret had the most amazing morning routine that puts everyone else’s to shame.
She woke up at 9am to breakfast in bed, followed by two hours in bed listening to the radio and reading newspapers, according to an excerpt from Ma’am Darling by Craig Brown.
Then the princess had a bath run for her by a maid, before an hour of hair and make-up.
At 12:30 she’d have a vodka, before joining the Queen mother for a four-course lunch, plus cheese and wine.
It couldn't be more perfect.
