Kaya the cat has a congenital facial abnormality making her look a bit different, but that doesn’t stop her from being “super affectionate and playful”.

“She has been through a lot in her short life but that hasn’t stopped her from being super affectionate and playful.”

They continued: “She is so deserving of a wonderful forever home. Kaya has received zero applications, we are hoping that her story will continue to be shared so she can find her forever home.”

Potential adopters were also informed that she gets along well with other cats as well as dogs, and has been “spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for leukemia and FIV”.

The Ontario Rescue urged people to look past her imperfections and to give her the opportunity to enjoy a loving home.
