According to a survey by sex toy company Love Honey, this is how long most couples spend on foreplay and sex.
Of the 4000 customers surveyed by the company, the average time for a heterosexual couple was 19 minutes.
This broke down into nine minutes for foreplay, and 10 for intercourse.
As Vice points out, this is longer than the average found by other studies - possibly because buyers of sex toys may be more invested in spending more time on foreplay or sex generally.
The survey also found that 23 per cent of men thought it should be longer, as did 19 per cent of women.
However, 52 per cent of those surveyed were satisfied with 19 minutes of heaven.
Previous studies have put the figure variously as three to seven minutes for 'adequate' sex'. While another that found the mean time of heterosexual companies monitored doing the nasty over a four week period had sex which lasted an average of 5.4 minutes.
