The Simpsons producer noticed a glaring mistake in an episode about Maggie

An executive producer for The Simpsons noticed a continuity error in an episode of the show… and pointed it right out.

Mat Selman shared a screen grab of the season six episode called 'And Maggie Makes Three', in which a very pregnant Marge tells Homer that they’re going to have another baby – Maggie.

Except there’s already a photograph of Maggie in a frame on the top right-hand corner of the wall. Even though she hadn't been born yet.

Huh.

That's some Back to the Future-style hijinks right there.

Al Jeans brought the banter (we're hoping that's what this is).

There were some pretty interesting alternative theories about Maggie's picture.

And others pointed out the show's propensity for predicting the future...
