This photo has been doing the rounds on Twitter:
It shows the apparent unwillingness or inability of ABC News to stop the incongruity of reporting on a grieving family's desire for privacy while conducting a live helicopter broadcast from above the home of Robin Williams.
People weren't very happy about it.
Surprisingly, it wasn't the most ill-advised media response to Robin Williams's death at the age of 63.
That unwanted accolade fell to Fox News, which included YouTube footage of a man dressed as Williams's Mrs Doubtfire character for Halloween, rather than clips from the film itself.
However, the Times still warrants an honourable mention.
