A survey of 1,026 Scottish voters has shown the extent to which parties are trusted in the country.
By a significant margin the most trusted party is the SNP, trusted by 45 per cent.
The least trusted are the Scottish Liberal Democrats, trusted by 17 per cent and distrusted by 73 per cent.
The poll also asked respondents if they agreed with the following statement for various parties:
The party these days give the impression of being very sleazy and disreputable.
Again, the SNP had the highest performance of all parties.
But then again, only 14 per cent of people said they trusted the party 'a lot'.
