These are the world's deadliest jobs

In 2012 3,515 people in the EU died after an accident at work. This chart by Statista, using data from Eurostat, breaks down those deaths by occupation.

While it is no surprise that the construction industry is at number one, it is interesting that 8.8 per cent of deaths at work were in workers in the wholesale and retail trade.
