This is what happens when you cook steaks with molten lava

Hungry? Look away now. It took under six minutes for geologists and students from Syracuse University to cook a group dinner on 700C molten lava. The demo was apparently to "further our understanding/ability to cook over and on (yes, on) lava". It also happens to be extremely cool.

Watch until the end to see one man eschew the grill and put his steak straight onto molten lava.
