This map might change your mind about how many refugees Britain will accept

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we think Britain could and should be doing more to help refugees.

To avoid repeating ourselves, here's a graphical representation of that.

Lebanon is currently home to 1.2million refugees. In a country of a population of around 4.5million, that means one in four people there are refugees.

There are 5,000 Syrian refugees in the UK, and David Cameron has committed the UK to resettling a further 20,000 over the next five years.

Here's Lebanon, home to 1.2million refugees remember, inside the UK, home to 25,000 refugees by 2020.

For the sake of fairness. We think all nations should be doing more. Saudi Arabia has accepted just a handful of refugees. Here's Lebanon inside that country.
