This tweet about mass shootings is still sadly relevant

Sally Kohn is a political commentator for CNN, who in the aftermath of the Sydney hostage crisis last December tweeted:

Sadly, the sentiment it expresses about how some parts of the media approach high profile shootings has rung true again and again, most prominently in Charleston and Chapel Hill.

It is now being shared once more in relation to the terrorist attacks in Paris, where it is worth remembering that an entire religion is not at fault, just an utterly, utterly warped version of it.
