Not too long ago, a white woman decided to call the police on a black family having a BBQ.
Yes, really.
Since that day the Internet dubbed her 'BBQ Becky' and hence a meme was born.
You must be familiar by now with the memes of which we refer to, but now a comedian has gone one step further and is taking the trolling to new heights.
On 29 April, a black family were having a barbecue by a lake in Oakland, California, when a white woman approached them in an aggressive manner, and called the police because they were using a charcoal grill in a 'none-charcoal grill area'.
Comedian Tim Northern from Kentucky told Bored Panda that he felt: 'A tinge of anger' when he first saw the video, but as 'casual racism' is so frequent he's become numb to it.
While sitting in a Starbucks he decided he wanted to bring the BBQ Becky memes back to life. So Northern took to the streets of Louisville getting pictures of himself calling the cops over some of the truly horrendous, unforgivable things the white people were up to. Like...
#1 Drinking lattes.
#2 Buying groceries.
#3 Banking.
#4 Even more shopping.
#5 Eating brunch.
#6 Ice skating.
#7 Just gathering compost.
#8 Buying sunscreen.
#9 Drinking beers.
#10 Crossing the road.
#11 Having your dog in a bar
#12 Every word is 'dude or 'bro'.
#13 Playing the accordion.
#14 Being quiet in the library.
#15 Jogging.
#16 Gardening.
#17 Never having any hot sauce.
Tim Northern, we salute you.
