People are photoshopping a shot from the new Mission: Impossible film and it is sublime

On Saturday afternoon Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise shared an image from the latest Mission: Impossible movie on Twitter.

The image featuring Henry Cavill and Angela Bassett isn't exactly the most inspiring thing you'll ever see and gives away virtually nothing about the upcoming blockbuster.

But Cruise underestimated the power of the internet to make a joke out of absolutely anything - and after Ali Plumb of Radio 1 noticed a similarity to a famous meme, a swarm of ridiculousness was unleashed.

Several people made reference to Cavill's role as Superman in the DC Comics movies too.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout isn't released until July, but will we be able to take it seriously knowing this meme exists?
